These Terms of Use apply to this website and to any JayESims x Jaye Hinson / JayESims Media mods, files, downloads, posts, text, images, and related content. By accessing the Site or using any Content, you agree to these Terms. JayESims | Creating Sims 4 Content | Patreon

1) Respect the Creator + Community

JayESims x Jaye Hinson does not support:

  • Social media group chat leaks (including Discord/Facebook group chats, DMs, “tea pages,” or private servers)

  • Reuploading or reposting files anywhere without explicit written permission

  • Sharing “folder links,” mirrors, or backup uploads of paid or free content without permission

  • Translations without asking first (including translated reposts, translated package descriptions, or translated uploads)

Please be respectful. This is real work, and this community is built on trust.

2) No Reuploads / No Redistribution

You may not:

  • Reupload my mods or files to any site (including Sims file sites, forums, Telegram, Google Drive/Dropbox links, TikTok bio links, etc.)

  • Bundle my mods into “mod packs” or “starter folders” for distribution

  • Share my content behind my back, even if you “don’t charge”

If you want to share, share the official link to the mod page (Patreon or this Site), not the files.

3) No Leaks / No “Sneak Drops”

Any sharing of Content intended to bypass paywalls, membership access, or creator control is prohibited.

If Content is leaked, JayESims x Jaye Hinson / JayESims Media may take action including (but not limited to):

  • Revoking access to Content

  • Blocking from community spaces

  • Reporting infringing uploads/links to the relevant platform

  • Pursuing further actions where appropriate

4) Translations & Conversions (Ask First)

Translations, conversions, or edits (including “adaptations,” “reworks,” “merged versions,” “rebrands,” or “this but rewritten”) require permission first.

If permission is granted, you must:

  • Credit JayESims x Jaye Hinson / JayESims Media

  • Link to the official original page

  • Follow any conditions provided in writing

5) Personal Use License (What is allowed)

You ARE allowed to:

  • Download and use mods for personal gameplay

  • Share screenshots/videos of gameplay using the mods (TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Tag/credit me and link to the official page

You are NOT allowed to:

  • Claim my work as your own

  • Sell my work, resell access, or include it in paid bundles

  • Upload my files “for convenience”

6) No Warranty

Mods may be affected by game updates, expansions, conflicts, or other mods. Content is provided “as is” without guarantees.

How I Run The Sims 4 (and My Mods) From an External Drive Without Breaking My Game

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I run my Sims 4 setup off an external drive, so I’m finally putting it all in one place.   I’ve been wanting a space like this for a minute.
