 HOW THE MOD HAUS CUSTOM PROCESS WORKS

I keep everything personal, transparent, and organized. Every custom order runs through a simple 3-step process built for YOU. 


1️⃣ After You Place Your Order:

You’ll receive both a Patreon chat message and an email from me within 24 hours.

Inside that message will be your official Google Form link. This is where you’ll tell me everything I need to know:

• name + description

• ideas + tone

• interactions you want

• storytelling vibe + details


2️⃣ Once You Submit the Form:

That’s when I get to work.

Your order enters the build queue and I start developing your custom trait/pack based on what you shared.

Every file is created from scratch and tested, polished, and branded the JayESims x Jaye Hinson way.


3️⃣ Delivery Time!

When your mod is complete, you’ll get a Patreon chat notification letting you know it’s been sent.

That message will include:

• your order number

• your download delivery confirmation (sent directly to your email)

• preview photos of what’s inside your mod


From there, you can drop it right into your Mods folder and start playing immediately.

How I Run The Sims 4 (and My Mods) From an External Drive Without Breaking My Game

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I run my Sims 4 setup off an external drive, so I’m finally putting it all in one place. This is exactly what I do, what I’ve learned the hard way, and how to keep it stable so you’re not losing saves or wondering why your mods “disappeared.” Quick note: there are TWO different things people mix up: 1) The Sims 4 game install (the actual game files) 2) Your Sims 4 user folder (Mods, Saves, Tray, screenshots, settings) Most mod problems come from #2.  that’s the “Documents” folder the game always looks for. —————————————————————————— WHY I RUN SIMS OFF AN EXTERNAL DRIVE —————————————————————————— • Keeps my main drive from getting eaten alive by CC/mods • Makes it easier to back up saves + Tray • Keeps my setup portable (plug in and I’m basically home) • Helps performance if your main drive is tight on space (low storage can make everything feel slower) Real talk though: the drive matters.   I’ve been wanting a space like this for a minute. Somewhere that isn’t just “here’s a link, bye.” This is my spot to post my thoughts, my feelings, what I’m working on, what I’m learning, and what’s really going on behind the scenes with the mods.
